ABOUT ME
Hello! I'm Lucy, the founder of Wallace Academic Guidance, or WAG for short. I started tutoring in high school, beginning with writing and expanding to cover executive function skills, college essays, and more. After graduating from Stanford University in 2024 with a psychology degree, I moved to Boston and turned WAG into my full-time job.
Professional Experience
With over five years of tutoring experience, I've worked with students from elementary school through college in diverse subject areas. I have substantial experience coaching students with learning differences/disabilities, including autism, ADHD, and dysgraphia.
Educational Background
I graduated from Stanford University with a major in psychology with honors and a minor in Slavic Studies. During college, I took extensive writing coursework and was heavily involved in psychology research, completing an honors thesis on emotional difficulties among autistic women. I draw on this background and knowledge of psychology when tutoring. By using science-informed approaches, I help students conceptualize their struggles and develop essential skills.
