ABOUT ME

Professional Experience

With over five years of tutoring experience, I've worked with students from elementary school through college in diverse subject areas. I have substantial experience coaching students with learning differences/disabilities, including autism, ADHD, and dysgraphia.

Educational Background

I graduated from Stanford University with a major in psychology with honors and a minor in Slavic Studies. During college, I took extensive writing coursework and was heavily involved in psychology research, completing an honors thesis on emotional difficulties among autistic women. I draw on this background and knowledge of psychology when tutoring. By using science-informed approaches, I help students conceptualize their struggles and develop essential skills.

• Hobbies: Learning languages, swimming, writing, running around with my goofy poodle

• Currently reading: Rabbit Hutch by Tess Gunty, My Ántonia by Willa Cather

• Currently listening to: Big Thief, Hozier, Suki Waterhouse

• Currently watching: Schitt’s Creek (never gets old!)

• Favorite snack: Silken tofu with ginger syrup (try it; it’s amazing)

• Worst thing I’ve ever written: A short story about a protagonist named Viola who played…wait for it…the viola. I was 13, and I thought this was incredibly deep.

• Superpower: Finding excuses to show people pictures of my dog. Isn’t she cute?
